SimpleITK is a cross-language programming interface to the Insight Toolkit (ITK). It facilitates rapid prototyping and use of ITK algorithms from an interactive interpreter. SimpleITK exposes a simplified version of ITK functionalities through bindings to Python, Java, Tcl, Lua, R and Ruby.
