dicomParser is a lightweight parser for Dicom Part 10 byte streams in web browsers. It has no external dependencies and can parse implicit and explicit little endian transfer syntaxes and all VRs including sequences. It does not require an external dictionary. dicomParser is optimized to read only Dicom headers, not image data, and to work within a browser. It is suitable for parsing WADO responses. dicomParser is the basis of the Cornerstone application.
